Ever since I was a little kid I LOVED art, I'd be round my Auntie's house doing Arts & crafts every week. Pissing my Mum off coming home covered in glitter. I loved it. It's always been a passion of mine but was never something I thought I could make a career out of.

After I finished my A levels in 2017 studying Art & Design, Photography and Media Studies I was completely baffled as to what to do with myself. Shortly after I sadly lost a very close person in my life and that time of my life really put things into perspective for me. My way of coping was to pick up my paintbrush and just paint. Paint my worries away so I say..

Until that day I hadn't painted for 6 months after being told by my college art teacher I shouldn’t be painting as my work wasn’t ‘up to scratch’. But suddenly I fell in love with art all over again. I felt free, I was able to paint what I wanted and didn’t feel restricted on what I could do.

I started off painting random animal portraits as a coping mechanism, which then lead me to creating pet portrait commissions for close family and friends just to keep myself afloat. That was then in late 2018 I started working on turning my hobby into my job and started Lottie.L Art . Now nearly 2 years on, I’m creating custom pet portraits for people all around the world. My goal is and always has been, to make art affordable for everyone - not everyone can afford a £5,000 piece of art, so don’t worry I got you guys!

This is only the beginning for me and I’ve already got so many exciting new ideas brewing to break into the art world. I really hope you'll join me on my art journey to *fingers crossed* success & happiness. Lets go….!
